Pathwaves Board Expansion

Dear Pathwaves Community,

At Pathwaves, we are building capacity for our Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) Fellows as they embark upon their leadership in early childhood policy. As we approach the one-year anniversary of the launch of our inaugural cohort, we reflect on the lessons we have learned and the exciting work ahead.

These past few years were spent sowing seeds–our planting season. We are heartened by the intentional community we have built who share their expertise and commitment to ensure that we can make the ultimate impact across Washington state. Now, in this first harvest season, we ask ourselves: how do we continue to build upon this initial harvest? We start by acknowledging what has worked for us, the lessons we have learned so far, and what seeds require further nurturing.

We are incredibly grateful for the hard work of our founding board, and find ourselves ready to continue nurturing and expanding our board. Pathwaves seeks people who are reflective of communities that have endured harm from systemic racism and other forms of oppression. Those who value joy and belonging, and who are ready to work collectively to transform the early childhood policy landscape. For more information view our Board of Directors Recruitment Announcement.

If you would like to nominate yourself or someone else, please complete the Board Nomination Form.
Wishing you a great autumn, and we are looking forward to our continued partnership as we grow together.

In community,

LaToya Holmes-Ware & Board Recruitment Committee
