Introducing the Pathwaves Collective Power Campaign

December 2, 2024 lisho

Today we launch our third annual giving campaign under a new name: The Collective Power Campaign, with a goal of raising $20,000.

Our commitment to building the collective power of leaders of color is at the center of everything we do at Pathwaves. Through this name change our giving campaign will better reflect our mission to build the Collective Power of leaders of color in Washington State.

We invite you to build Collective Power with us by making a donation today.

Pathwaves builds Collective Power so that leaders of color have agency to make transformational change. We know that transformational change requires a long term investment, and we are committed to seeing our vision through. It is not enough for leaders of color to have a seat at the table within policy making spaces. Our leaders must have the power to make an impact.

This starts with our investment in the development of emerging BIPOC leaders through our 20-month Fellowship program. Pathwaves also facilitates spaces where our placement sites can coordinate their efforts in pursuit of racial justice within the sector. Additionally, we are committed to collaborating with values aligned leaders in all aspects of our work including our board leadership, program consultants, coaches and mentors for Fellows and staff, and beyond.

Our supporters are a part of this Collective Power, and we are so grateful for the financial contributions that help sustain our vital work. Together, we will continue to create pathways for leaders of color to hold decision making positions in the early childhood policy sector so that every child and family can thrive.

Thank you for your generosity, and please consider forwarding this message to members of your community that share our vision for Collective Power.
